I have been playing since childhood and teaching and performing since 2011. Classically trained, I have also collaborated with musicians from a wide range of traditions: jazz, rock, folk, early music, and Iranian and Syrian classical/pop. While my teaching is rooted in classical technique and repertoire, I bring perspectives from other traditions to provide a broad, well-rounded education. A key part of my teaching philosophy is nurturing creativity. Alongside repertoire, lessons may include composition, improvisation, and music theory, which I believe are valuable skills for musicians at every level.
