Set overall technical strategy for the company, overseeing work from the development team to ensure optimal performance, adherence to coding standards and accessibility compliance. Built and maintained a custom theme development framework for internal use. It utilised the UX team's design system as well as a bespoke PHP class structure, the Bootstrap 5 utilities API, a modular templating system with ACF Flexible Content/WordPress template parts, and Gulp to compile assets & a production version of the theme. The above framework allowed efficient template creation for the development team as well as giving our clients the ability to add additional content using pre-built components without the technical overheads or learning curve of a page-builder Developed bespoke MVPs with complex custom functionality using knowledge of the WordPress architecture to provide budget-friendly solutions in a client-friendly CMS. Developed standalone and integrated web applications using JavaScript frameworks. Developed multiple translation-ready themes and multisite networks Created a deployment pipeline from GitHub repositories to our hosting provider using GitHub Actions.

Developed and maintained full WordPress websites, with bespoke themes & plugins per-project. Worked with common plugins like Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce and Yoast. Worked with design team to implement pixel-precise designs from Figma & Zeppelin. Worked with and implemented both the native WordPress and third party API's Developed a number of sites using Beaver Builder. Collaborated directly with clients to ensure exact implementation of technical needs.
