At OEG Subsea Division, I operate as an IT Specialist during an exciting and demanding period of transformation — shaping the digital foundation of a growing organisation in the maritime and offshore industry. Migration & Modernisation Following the transition from Bluestream to OEG, I played a key role in migrating away from a legacy Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment toward a fully modern workplace — built on Hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Intune. This was no small undertaking: it required careful planning, technical depth, and ongoing collaboration with our international HQ. The migration is an active journey, and we continue to refine, improve, and expand the environment every day. User-Centric IT I work closely with end users across all levels of the organisation and tailor IT solutions to the real-world demands of our business. In an industry like offshore, standard solutions often fall short. Ad-hoc situations, remote environments, and operational urgency are part of the daily reality — and I make sure our IT infrastructure is flexible and responsive enough to handle them, without compromising on reliability or security. Security & Compliance Security is embedded in everything I do. We are actively working towards compliance with the ISO 27001 standard, which means contributing to policies, procedures, and technical controls that protect the organisation on every level. In an industry where data integrity and operational continuity are critical, I take that responsibility seriously. Collaboration with HQ Working in close alignment with our international headquarters, I bridge the gap between global IT strategy and local operational needs — ensuring that our division stays connected, compliant, and moving in the same direction as the wider organisation.
