Strategy manager for PE portfolio company in building maintenance, renovation and energy-efficiency improvements. The company has an active buy and build strategy with currently approx. €500m in revenue. Main focus is on b2b, serving real estate owners across the Netherlands. My tasks and responsibilities being the following: - Lead the integration of add-on acquisitions across regions - Perform commercial due diligence for new acquisitions and overall M&A strategy - Improve and support commercial collaboration between subsidiaries, among others by implementing company wide CRM and financial analysis of clients - Realize procurement cost savings through cross-regional alignment, for example with building materials, machine rental, waste management and car/ van leasing - Support subsidiaries with business improvement plans and strategic direction - Define and manage overall strategic priorities across the firm

Led large strategy projects in the private and semi-public sector, working closely with C-level to turn strategy into action - covering stakeholder management, decision-making support, organisational analysis, governance, culture, and ad hoc problem solving. Selection of cases which I led as project manager: Top line and operational improvement - Supported the CRO of an insurance firm with improvements in the investment process, this included support with board decision-making - Reviewed operational readiness of pension administrator to implement strategy Strategy and M&A - Supported the board of an asset management firm in strategy development, leading to a recommendation to seek a merger. Followed through with pre-M&A strategy, partner selection, and joint vision workshops - Performed review of an entire real estate investment company through interviews, identified core challenges and proposed concrete actions for improvement Market study and competitive landscape analysis - Performed scenario analysis for an asset management firm focused on competitiveness and potential outcomes of new Dutch pension regulation - Performed various market research analyses for clients Business development and organizational - Initiated various propositions, projects and opportunities - Directly managed and coordinated work activities for several managers and analysts - Initiated program to improve team spirit and cohesion
