TRAININGS

 

We have 9 trainings. Each training consists of:

  • 1 Trainers Manual
  • 1 Participant Workbook / Participant Handbook
  • Training materials (PowerPoint slides and/or flipchart templates); I can show you an example tomorrow
  • 1 Terms of Reference template

 

Trainers Manuals

  • Total: 9 manuals
  • Average length: approx. 20–25 pages each
  • Includes cover page, table of contents, session guidance, etc.

 

Participant Workbooks / Handbooks

  • Total: 9 workbooks
  • Average length: approx. 10–15 pages each
  • Includes cover page, exercises, worksheets, summaries, etc.

 

Presentation / Facilitation/Other Materials

  • PowerPoint slide decks; should be editable for trainers to contextualise/localise content
  • Flipchart templates and visual facilitation materials, where applicable
  • 1 Terms of Reference template per training
  • Participants certificate

 

The exact number of slides/flipchart templates/visual facilitation materials differs slightly per training.

 

 

 

Toolbox for Cooperative Advisors

In addition to the trainings, we have 8 practical tools to be used by Cooperative Advisors.

These are not training manuals, but practical field tools/guidance documents.

 

Tools

  • Total: 8 tools (like the marketing tool and data driven business development)
  • Average length: approx. 20–25 pages each

 

 

Some things to consider for the design/style of the training and tool documents:

 

  1. Difference between Trainings and Tools

The tools and the trainings should have clearly different visual identities.

It should immediately be visible…ideas:

  • Different accent colours
  • Different cover styles
  • Different visual elements/icons/layout

 

  1. Difference within Training Materials

Within the training package itself, there should ideally also be a distinction between:

  • Trainers Manuals
  • Participant Workbooks

The idea is that they still clearly belong together, but are distinguishable at first glance.For example same colour family, but different shades/tones, or a slight variation in layout or graphic elements.. maybe different icons or labels for trainer vs participant materials.

 

We also offer training in 3 categories (foundational training, member engagement, and business development).

I’m open to ideas, most importantly, let’s not overdesign it or make it too complicated. I don’t want to have a colour scheme within a colour scheme 😝

 

  1. General Preferences

The materials should:

  • Feel practical and facilitation-oriented
  • Be clean and readable
  • Work well digitally and in print
  • Covers should contain relevant images matching the topic/content
  • Clear formatting for tables, exercises, schedules, and facilitator notes is important

 

  1. Deliverables expected

Ideally, the freelancer would provide:

  • Master Word templates
  • Layouts/templates
  • Cover page concepts
  • PowerPoint style templates
  • Visual elements were useful

 

 

Deadline / timing

  • Would be great to have some initial concepts within 2 weeks after the start
  • The total package not later than the end of Q3
