We are the world leader in home swapping and we are looking for a freelance community specialist!Who are we?
Our platform believes there is a different way to travel. As the world leader in home swapping with over 550,000 homes in 187 countries, we foster a community based on trust and hospitality. We are looking for a versatile freelancer to grow and engage our Dutch market through both direct sales support and local community initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
You will split your time (approx. 5h/week each) between driving conversions and building a vibrant local community.
1. Customer Success & Sales (CSM Focus)

Conversion & Renewals: Make outbound calls to qualified leads and members to encourage sign-ups and membership renewals (no cold calling).

Personalized Support: Respond to inquiries via phone and email, guiding users through profile creation and their first exchange searches.

Advocacy: Host a bimonthly webinar for Dutch leads to showcase the platform’s value.

Feedback Loop: Report user insights to our Marketing and Product teams to improve the member experience.
2. Community Engagement & Field Marketing

Event Strategy: Identify and propose local events or sponsorships in the Netherlands that align with our values (e.g., sustainable travel fairs, local lifestyle workshops).

Brand Representation: Act as our "boots on the ground" by attending 1–2 key events per quarter.

Member Meetups: Autonomously plan and execute small-scale member gatherings to foster peer-to-peer connection.

Ambassador Relations: Get to know our most active Dutch ambassadors and collaborate with them on local initiatives.
Desired Profile

Bilingual Dutch/English: You must be fluent in Dutch with excellent communication skills.

Sales & People Person: Experience in B2C support or sales. You are comfortable on the phone, full of energy and naturally enjoy meeting new people.

Project Management Skills: You are organized and autonomous, capable of taking a project (like a meetup) from an idea to execution.

Proactive & Creative: You have a vision for where we should be present in the Netherlands.

Being an active user of the platform is a massive plus!

Comfortable with New Technologies: You are at ease with new technologies and web tools, and are quick to adapt to new platforms and systems.
Conditions

Status: Freelance contract.

Volume: Approximately 10 hours/week (5h CSM / 5h Community).

Flexibility: Flexible hours, though 4–6 hours should be dedicated to peak calling times.

Start Date: May–June 2026.
